When designing the Rogue Echo Rower, the goal was clear: create a machine that can withstand the test of time, and provide consistent and accurate performance metrics. Sharing the same robust engineering and design elements that define the Rogue Echo Bike, the Echo Rower is built to endure the daily demands of serious athletes and training facilities worldwide.
A fundamental design principle was to develop a rower able to be used in competition. Whether the CrossFit Games, Rogue Invitational or comparing scores from garage to garage in Rogue Challenges, the outputs had to be consistent. We worked closely with a third-party engineering firm, S-E-A, to verify all data outputs would allow this machine to be used in competition alongside the Concept2 RowErg.
The Echo Rower is designed to provide a full body workout, making it ideal for the home gym, affiliates, and commercial gyms alike. Equipped with an LCD console with Bluetooth and ANT+ compatibility, users are able to program workouts and track their performance and monitor their metrics in real time. The aluminum frame construction, paired with premium materials and an aggressive, modern design equate to an uncompromising machine built to perform.
The flywheel has been precisely engineered to provide a smooth and consistent rowing experience stroke after stroke. Inertia, weight balance, and aerodynamic resistance are calibrated to competition standards on every rower. An integrated damper lever controls how much air is drawn into the cage on each pull, allowing the user to adjust the amount of work required to accelerate the flywheel.
Our patent pending quick release lever design allows athletes to quickly set and release the foot straps, resulting in faster transitions when it counts the most. No more adjusting and loosening a slide buckle during transitions on and off the rower. Once the strap is initially adjusted to the athlete’s foot, the quick release lever on the side can be utilized to release and re-secure the strap, allowing for a perfectly consistent adjustment round after round.
This space-saving design allows the rower to fold and easily be stored away when not in use, making it ideal for training facilities and home gyms where space is at a premium. The Echo Rower can also be transported while folded utilizing the turf tires and handle integrated into the bottom of the footplate.
The aluminum frame construction provides unmatched stability, ensuring the rower stays grounded during the most intense workouts, eliminating unwanted movement and providing a stable base for every workout. The aggressive stature and modern lines are not just for aesthetics, they play a key role in dispersing force, allowing for maximum performance.
